Gala, committed to the fight against COVID-19
Gala, a leading manufacturer of bathroom equipment and flat ceramics, is also a company fully committed to society, as it has demonstrated since the beginning of the health crisis caused by COVID-19.
In this regard, Gala has taken all necessary measures from the outset to ensure the safety of its employees, distributors and customers.
In turn, the company has focused its efforts since the declaration of the State of Alarm on collaborating with the health authorities and entities that are in charge of managing this crisis. In the early days, Gala delivered protective equipment (PPE: tights, coveralls and goggles) to the Regional Government of Castile and Leon, so that they could redistribute them wherever they were most needed. In addition, the company's 3D printers, usually in charge of producing models and prototypes, have been working over the past few weeks to manufacture protection systems for health-care workers. To date, Gala has delivered 300 protective visors to social organizations and institutions in Burgos, which these entities are responsible for distributing among the groups that are working in the front line in the fight against the coronavirus.
